UPEI is a growing centre of research excellence in Atlantic Canada. Ranked the number one university in Canada for research income growth by Re$earch Infosource, UPEI manages more than $18 million in annual research expenditures, and is home to more than a dozen research chairs, including the prestigious Canada Excellence Research Chair in Aquatic Epidemiology.
