2009 NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards

UPEI celebrated 15 undergraduate research awards received from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council

Small class sizes and supportive, collegial relationships with professors and classmates provide UPEI students with exceptional opportunities to carry out important, real-life research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This website has been created to highlight the variety and quality of our student research work.

In the summer of 2009, UPEI celebrated 15 undergraduate research awards received from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). NSERC is the main government funding agency for basic science and engineering research. It supports students and faculty through a competitive process that rewards the brightest and the best researchers in Canada.

We are proud to introduce our 2009 NSERC undergraduate award-winners’ research. Please click on the names to the right to learn about our students' research and their summer experience.
