What: The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a skills development activity which challenges thesis-based graduate students to explain their research project to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes.
First place wins $200 and a trip to Dalhousie University to compete in the regional 3MT. Second place wins $100. Third place wins $50.
