Host-pathogen-environment interactions, applying the tools of molecular biology and biochemistry to understand the pathogenesis of disease. The research aims to provide some insight into how pathogens cause disease and how hosts respond to these challenges. The development of more sensitive and specific methods for detection for the management of disease in wild and harvested stocks.
